PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Project Nurse is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of all personnel at the project site. This role involves providing immediate medical care, supporting occupational health programs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Project Nurse also plays a key role in health education, emergency preparedness, and the implementation of site-specific health protocols.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement wellness and health program
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care to injured or ill personnel on-site.
- Maintain and manage the site clinic, including medical supplies, equipment, and cleanliness.
- Conduct regular health monitoring (e.g., blood pressure checks, temperature screening).
- Assist in the implementation of occupational health programs and health surveillance activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, incident logs, and health reports.
- Participate in accident and incident investigations and provide medical input as needed.
- Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, and emergency services for referrals and emergencies.
- Conduct health orientations and awareness sessions and health protocols for management, supervisors, including new hires and site personnel.
- Monitor the stock inventory of medicines and other necessary supplies from time to time
- Participate in the conduct of health campaigns, and in emergency simulation drills.
- Support the implementation of COVID-19 protocols or other infectious disease control measures.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating annual physical exams and vaccination programs.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities that maybe required from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); must be a Registered Nurse (RN).
- With valid Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training for nurses
- Occupational Health Nurses Association of the Philippines (OHNAP) accredited is an advantage.
- With experience in construction, industrial, or project-based environments (is highly desirable).
- Strong knowledge of occupational health standards and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

INTER/INTRA PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Will maintain close liaison with the superior and project counterparts
- The position must work effectively with the member of the team
- The position will work harmoniously with all level of the organization.
