Role:
Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Consultant

Required Technical Skill Set:

  • Configuring application, building reports, Integrations and customizations.
  • Experience in the standard Oracle HCM Cloud components
  • Experience in any of the following HCM functional modules: Core HR, Recruitment, Absence, Learning, Talent Management
  • HCM cloud tools – Component processor, HCM Extract, HCM Design studio, HCM data loader, OTBI reporting, BI reporting, Oracle Digital Assistant, workflow etc.

Must Have:

  • At-least 1 End-to-End implementation of Oracle HCM cloud (any of the functional modules: Core HR, ORC, Absence, Performance, Learning)
  • BI/OTBI Reports, HCM extracts, Fast formula and HDL/HSDL
  • Comfortable with Process-flows & Functional-flows in Oracle HCM cloud
  • Expert in understanding the business requirements and standard Oracle solution documentation templates.
  • Extensive development and testing experience on Oracle HCM cloud technical tools – Component processor, HCM design studio, HCM Extracts, HCM data loader, BI Publisher, workflow etc.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Should know how to document and explain the solution
  • Commitment to delivering a high-quality work product

  • OTL, Payroll, Workflow

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:

  • Business requirement gathering, solution designing of Oracle HCM modules
  • Hands-on knowledge on Oracle HCM Cloud
  • Understand the end-to-end business process flow for Oracle HCM (Core HR, Recruitment, Talent management, Benefit, Learning)
  • Understand the mode of integration and reporting mechanism offered by Oracle Cloud
  • Ability to configure the system along with creation of the configuration documents
  • Ability to map the business requirements to the product features and functions in Oracle Cloud
  • Ability to create functional design documents and conduct functional testing
  • Development of BI & OTBI Reports
  • Develop HDL scripts for bulk HR data correction
  • Create/Update Fast Formulas
  • Page Personalization using sandbox
  • Analyzing the interface issues and providing the solution for data corrections
  • Write business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions and application extensions for Oracle Cloud HCM applications
  • Carry out unit testing on code and develop test plans to verify logic of new or modified code
  • Create appropriate documentation such as requirements, detailed analysis, technical documentation or user guides
  • Adherence to documented development standards and implementation of "best practice" development methods
  • Collaborate with Oracle Support to provide solutions as functional and technical bugs are encountered
