Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant with at least two (2) years of work experience. Audit experience with financial institutions (bank and non-bank) is not required but an advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting and audit principles including tax laws, rules, and regulations.
  • In-depth understanding and appropriate use of auditing techniques.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Project management, leadership, coaching, counseling, and supervisory skills
  • Willing to work extended hours if needed
Job Description
  • Apply relevant theory, standards, and principles of accounting and auditing to various client situations.
  • Prepare audit work programs, draft audit reports, management letters, and other related communications
  • Reviews competent evidential matter to substantiate the fairness of client's financial statements; prepares schedules, summaries, and reports based on findings
  • Conduct reviews and ensures that audit objectives are met, and audit reports are valid, accurate, and complete.
  • Review/evidence work performed by the team by participating directly in the performance of audit procedures and preparing relevant workpapers.
  • Assists on special assignments.
  • Develop an understanding of the field of public accounting and the meaning of the "one-firm total service" concept.
