Chief Mechanic

• Supervise in Performing Preventive Maintenance of all delivery trucks
• Supervise troubleshooting and repair of all trucks and other service vehicles (including rescue)
• Supervise Daily truck check up
• Responsible in cleaning and housekeeping of work area
• Responsible in safekeeping all tools and other instrument issued to him
• Reporting to Motorpool Engineering Head
• Responsible for the final checking and approval for the quality and quantity of all parts and materials needed for repair and scheduled PM
• Responsible for the reviewing of history cards of each truck and decide on implementation of PM and decide on things to do to further improve efficiency of trucks

Essential:

• Graduate of 2 year vocational course (Automotive) or equivalent
• With experience handling group of mechanics
• With at least 3 years work experience

Desirable:

• Must have a thorough understanding on usage of hand tools, power tools and basic maintenance equipment
• With knowledge in Engine and under chassis repair, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Must have basic knowledge of good manufacturing practice
