Job Description
Title: Bookkeeper
The Bookkeeper is responsible for bank and credit card reconciliations in accordance with accounting principles and company policies. This position reports directly to the Accounting Supervisor.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Daily account reconciliation, reporting and exception resolution in support credit card reconciliation activity for over 100 credit cards.
● Work with internal and external business partners identify opportunities for process improvement while making sure they stay within company policy.
● Complete periodic balance sheet account reconciliations accurately and timely while adhering to company and departmental guidelines
● Provide timely and accurate analysis and reporting to track key performance metrics and communicate actionable business insights to management
● Generates daily report on Excel
Qualifications
● Proactive individual who is detail oriented, accurate, and well organized
● At least 2 years of accounting experience
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to make an informed decision
● Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in high volume environment
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required (Pivot Tables, etc.)
● Experience with Expensify preferred
