Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Backend Developer specializing in NodeJS and Java. The role is based in Quezon City. The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining server-side features and APIs for a robust backend system. Responsibilities will also include collaborating with front-end developers and other team members to ensure seamless application performance, integrating microservices, and optimizing application functionality. Maintaining code quality and performing debugging or troubleshooting tasks is also key.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, specifically in NodeJS and Java
  • Experience with Microservices architecture and integrating distributed systems
  • Strong understanding of the Spring Framework
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Solid understanding of backend architecture, APIs, and databases
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Relevant educational background, such as a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in Agile development practices is a plus
