Develop, Design & improve packaging, create the packaging specifications, design label format, develop packaging supplier, develop and set the standards and criteria for packaging material and testing, with focus on productivity, reducing time, building systems, maintaining ISO documents and standards. Manage and troubleshooting packaging issues with the objective of ensuring the packaging meets the requirements and cost saving within the direction of TE policies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Packaging RDO for development and design
  • Discuss with PE, customer and RDO based on requirements for product packaging, and design the product packaging based on policy and standards
  • Confirm packaging design, apply for proofing and send to FSR for detection; evaluate the samples according to testing results
  • Conduct drawing control through PDMLink and other related systems
  • Collect ECR information and release ECR after conducting feasibility evaluation. to ensure the product packaging design meet requirements and comply with established standards and processes
  • Develop and set the standards and criteria for all packaging material and testing to ensure the packaging to meet the customer's requirement and TE's quality.
  • Product packaging improvement and cost saving
  • Implement the product packing improvement project to meet customer's need, reduce cost and protect environment etc.
  • Collect market information and provide the feedback to purchasing department.
  • Participate in the supplier's assessment, to support the supplier selection.
  • Commitment to Document of responsibility of environmental protection, occupational health, fire and safety production (IV).
  • Attend EHS training and review EHS lesson learn. Make sure achieve EHS target and keep my working safety
  • Precisely understand customer & RDO's needs
  • Responsible for development and design of packaging RDO based on product requirements.
  • BOM evaluation based on customer's requirement and TE's quality
  • Qualification of Packaging materials.
  • Supplier development and assessment.  
  • Work with Global COE Assembly to drive continuous improvement
  • Create the packaging specification for each product.
  • Impart trainings and development for new joiners, Technical Trainees etc.
  • Review of TEOA deployment
  • Review ISO documents and update, Engage in ISO audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Major in Design or Packaging Engineering or Bachelor of Science or above degree on engineering courses. Preferably Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics and Industrial.
  • 3+ years' experience and practitioner in the automation assembly and Tooling Design & Development
  • CAD Knowledge Must, preferably Pro E / Creo & Auto-cad, Solidworks.
  • Computer Knowledge, MS Office etc, SAP knowledge added advantage
  • Integrity; Accountability; Communication; Outgoing
  • Ergonomic and lean manufacturing practitioner.

  • Ensuring processes are running at an optimum level for maximizing quality and output levels.

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field or local equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional level experience
