Role Overview

The Data Analyst at TeleCure plays a strategic and analytical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that directly support decision-making, operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and long-term growth. This role is responsible for building a full analytics continuum—from Descriptive (what happened) and Diagnostic (why it happened) to Predictive (what might happen) and Prescriptive analytics (what should be done)—using TeleCure's historical, operational, and financial data.

The Data Analyst will work with diverse data sources, including PhilHealth YAKAP data, clinic and laboratory data, onsite operations data, accounting, and finance data. The role is vital in enabling TeleCure to become a data-driven healthcare organization, supporting leadership with evidence-based recommendations and scenario-based planning to move operations from hindsight to foresight.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Descriptive & Diagnostic Analytics

• Develop dashboards and reports that summarize historical and current performance across operations, clinics, onsite services, YAKAP, and finance.
• Perform diagnostic analysis to identify drivers, bottlenecks, variances, and root causes behind trends or anomalies, translating complex datasets into clear, understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

2. Predictive Analytics & Forecasting

• Build forecasting models for patient volume, YAKAP utilization, claims submissions, revenues, costs, and resource needs.
• Use historical trends and statistical models to anticipate operational, financial, and compliance risks, while supporting planning for clinic expansion, onsite deployments, staffing, and inventory requirements.

3. Prescriptive Analytics & Decision

• Support Develop data-driven recommendations on actions TeleCure should take to optimize outcomes.
• Apply optimization techniques to improve scheduling, resource allocation, cost efficiency, and service delivery, and conduct scenario analysis and simulations to support executive decision-making.

4. Data Integration & Management

• Integrate data from multiple sources including EMRs, PhilHealth systems, accounting software, and operational databases to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to improve data pipelines, data structures, and reporting workflows.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with the COO, Data & IT Manager, Finance, Operations, Medical Records, and Clinic Teams to understand analytical needs.
• Present insights, forecasts, and recommendations to management in a clear, strategic, and actionable manner, while supporting departments in developing data literacy and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. A Master's degree is an advantage.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is required.

Experience: Experience in forecasting, statistical analysis, and optimization techniques. Ability to work with large, multi-source datasets, preferably in healthcare, finance, or operations.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.

Employment Details

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1 Hour Lunch Break)
