Core Technical Qualifications

Database Administration Experience

  • Strong background in managing databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of backup, recovery, performance tuning, and high availability.

Server & Infrastructure Security

  • Experience securing servers (Windows/Linux).
  • Knowledge of hardening standards and security frameworks.

Security Controls & Compliance

  • Hands-on experience in implementing and managing security controls.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (ISO, PCI-DSS, NIST, etc.).

Audit & Monitoring Skills

  • Ability to perform internal security audits.
  • Experience with monitoring tools to detect unauthorized access, threats, and vulnerabilities.

Patch Management

  • Experience applying OS, database, and application patches regularly.
  • Understanding of vulnerability management processes.

Tools & Technologies

Database tools: SQL Developer, SSMS, pgAdmin, etc.

Security tools: SIEM, vulnerability scanners, monitoring platforms.

OS: Windows Server, Linux.

Scripting (optional but beneficial): Bash, PowerShell, Python.

Salary: up to 40k

Schedule: regular hours, M-F

Set up: onsite

Location: Makati

Contract: 6mos fixed term
