About the role

As an API Manager (WSO2) at DAPL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT SERVICES PHILIPPINES INC.', you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising the company's API ecosystem. In this full-time position based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration and effective management of APIs across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the entire API lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and monitoring
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into API strategies
  3. Implement and maintain API governance policies to ensure security, compliance, and performance
  4. Analyse API usage patterns and trends to optimise performance and drive continuous improvement
  5. Provide technical support and guidance to developers and end-users on API-related matters
  6. Participate in the selection, implementation, and maintenance of API management tools and platforms
  7. Identify and address API-related issues, ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of the API ecosystem

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in API management, preferably with exposure to the WSO2 platform
  2. Strong technical skills in API design, development, and integration, with a good understanding of RESTful API principles
  3. Proficiency in API management tools and platforms, such as WSO2 API Manager, Apigee, or Azure API Management
  4. Experience in implementing API security, versioning, and monitoring strategies
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve API-related issues
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  7. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
