Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Perform reconciliations (bank, supplier, customer, intercompany, etc.).
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Manage fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

2. Financial Management

  • Assist in preparing and monitoring annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Support cost control initiatives and financial performance tracking.
  • Assist with financial planning, cash flow management, and investment analysis.

3. Taxation & Compliance

  • Prepare and file all statutory taxes (Corporate Income Tax, VAT/GST, Withholding Tax, Payroll Tax, etc.) in compliance with local regulations.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and external consultants for audits or inquiries.
  • Maintain proper documentation for tax filings and ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and financial regulations.

4. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, and/or tax roles.
  • Certifications (preferred): CPA / ACCA / CMA / Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with local tax laws and financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
