Company Nurse

JOB SUMMARY:

Delivers occupational health services, treats injuries, promotes wellness, ensures safety, and prepares accident and compensation reports.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILIES:

MEDICAL SERVICES

• Monitors the health conditions of employees.
• Provides on-site emergency care (first aid treatment) providing medications, health assessments, and referrals. Brings employees to hospital in cases when the clinic does not have the facility to treat the sickness or accident
• Advises company doctor about serious incidents and situations which may pose risks to employees.
• Takes vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, etc. during employee consultations.
• Documents medical findings in the employee's medical record.
• Dispenses standard drugs and medicines such as aspirin and cough or cold tablets, ensuring that correct control, storage and administration of drugs and medicines are undertaken.
• Submits laboratory/diagnostics results to the company doctor.
• Assesses medical condition and initiates action for necessary medical management.
• Checks and monitors employees' entitlement to dental benefits. Issues referral to dentist/s
• Conducts home or hospital visits, when necessary.
• Assist HR in medical or other health-related concerns

HEALTH AND SAFETY

• Arranges safety and health seminars, programs, and information campaign.
• Conducts regular worksite walk-through assessments to determine employee work processes and potential sources of illness and injury. Monitors employee safety, sanitation, and grooming.
• Counsels' employees on health maintenance, results of health screenings and health promotion activities;
• Recommends occupational health and safety programs. Establishes tie-ups with government, non-government organizations (NGOs), social and health institution for possible assistance in implementing health programs
• Coordinates and monitors activities of First Aiders
• Performs all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a graduate of BS in Nursing.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Has BOSH training and/or other certificates like First Aid, etc.
• Willing to work on Mondays to Saturdays, 7AM - 4PM
• Willing to be assigned in Pulilan, Bulacan
• Can start ASAP
