Truck Dispatcher

Educational Background:

• At least a High School Diploma or Associate Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A Bachelor's degree is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in dispatching, trucking, or logistics operations.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and GPS tracking software is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent communication and coordination skills (verbal and written).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
• Knowledge of routes, load management, and trucking regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and dispatching tools.
• Customer service oriented and able to maintain professional relationships with drivers and clients.
• Driving skills (car) – must be able to operate a vehicle safely and efficiently for work-related purposes.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work on flexible schedules, including nights or weekends if needed.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
