SAP MM Functional Consultant

Role Summary
The SAP MM Functional Consultant's role involves configuring, implementing, and supporting the SAP Materials Management module to optimize procurement and inventory processes. Key duties include gathering client requirements, performing system configurations, creating test cases, training end-users, and ensuring integration with other SAP modules like FI and CO. The role also requires troubleshooting issues and providing ongoing system improvements.
Responsibilities
- Requirement analysis: Analyze business processes and client requirements to configure SAP solutions effectively.
- Configuration and implementation: Configure the SAP MM module, including material and vendor master data, purchasing processes, and pricing procedures.
- System support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues within the SAP MM module.
- Testing: Develop and execute test scripts, and manage retesting to ensure configurations meet client needs.
- Integration: Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other modules like FI (Finance) and CO(Controlling).
- Training and documentation: Prepare training materials and documentation for end-users.
- Process improvement: Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement
- enhancements to business processes.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of SAP MM functionalities such as procurement, inventory control, and invoice verification.
- Experience with SAP ECC modules and related functionalities.
- Proficiency in gathering functional requirements and translating them into system configurations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to create and execute test cases and scripts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients.
