Job Title: Industrial ElectricianJob Summary:

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment used in industrial and construction environments. The role ensures that all electrical installations are safe, efficient, and compliant with company standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in industrial or construction settings.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical components, machinery, and control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustments or repairs.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices.
  • Collaborate with engineers, foremen, and other trade workers to support ongoing projects.
  • Maintain records of maintenance and repair work performed.
  • Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and power interruptions.

Qualifications:

  • Vocational or technical course in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or related field.
  • NC II or NC III Certification in Electrical Installation & Maintenance is an advantage.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience as an Industrial or Construction Electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and industrial machinery.
  • Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.
  • Physically fit and willing to be assigned to various project sites.
