What you'll do

*Develop, build and maintain the payment facilities, customer accounts and platform APIs in Aqwire's billing platform (B2B2C).

*Debug and assist team members across the platform services for the payments infrastructure.

*Communicate with the product team to plan, design and develop the product features.

*Review pull requests and provide feedback to team member's contributions.

*Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including: automating manual processes; optimizing efficient data delivery; and building reliable payment infrastructure.

*Mentor, onboard and assist junior and mid-level software engineers on their development work.

Who You Are

We are looking for an experienced Javascript/Python developer who can help develop, maintain and test customer accounts, payments and enrollments for B2B2C.

Job requirements

*At least 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.

*Experience in using JavaScript for , preferably used Angular, React or Vue for front-end frameworks.

*Experience in using Python, preferably used Flask or Django for back-end framework.

*Experience in using SQL database (Postgresql) or NoSQL database (MongoDB, Redis).

*Experience in CSS/SASS and HTML for web development.

*Experience in using Git for version control.

*Experience in scripting and automation using UNIX/Python/shell scripting.

*Excellent English communication skills, able to articulate solutions with Development and Product teams.

*Strong understanding and knowledge of computer science concepts, data structure, algorithms, functional and object-oriented programming.

*Good grasp of security principles, and develops with a privacy, security-first mindset.

Nice to have

*Previous experience in Fintech or Financial Services for 2+ years.

*Experience with implementing API integrations with popular cloud services.

*Experience working with PaaS and cloud services - preferably AWS, Azure or GCP.
