About the company

Our mission is simple: we introduce craft and delight to everyday eating. We believe that eating well should be easy - that food can taste good, feel good, and not break the bank. We take the best ingredients and turn them into delectable meals customers can't help but eat (like a habit).

We're one of the first cloud kitchens in Manila and have served 1M+ meals through digital-only brands - and we're only getting started. We're looking for bright, passionate folks to help us change the way Filipinos eat.

What we're looking for

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from a reputable institution.
  • At least 5 years of solid work experience in an accountant role, with at least 1 year in a managerial capacity.
  • Can work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills (English and Tagalog).
  • Proficient with Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and/or Microsoft product counterparts.
  • Knowledgeable about local tax laws (corporate income tax, VAT) and required tax filings.
  • Knowledgeable in Excel including formulas such as lookups, etc.
  • Willing to work in Bagong Ilog, Pasig City.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience using Xero or Quickbooks is an advantage.
  • Holds an active CPA license.
  • In-depth understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
  • Past experience handling permit renewals and other compliance-related documents.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and analyze regular financial reports: income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations.
  • Provide recommendations to the CEO and senior management based on insights learned from said financial reports.
  • Implement internal controls to ensure consistent financial performance and alert management of anomalies.
  • Conduct internal audits to investigate financial anomalies and rectify them, especially as it relates to store inventories.
  • Process required compliance-related documents and permits as needed.
  • Act as thought partner to the CEO and senior management as it relates to financial performance, internal controls, and other accounting decisions.
