Role Summary

The Video Editor is responsible for editing and producing engaging video content that supports Muvr's brand, growth, and storytelling efforts. This role focuses on short-form and long-form video across social, paid, lifecycle, and brand channels, working closely with Creative, Marketing, and Growth teams to turn raw footage and ideas into high-impact content.

This role reports to Creative or Marketing leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Production
  • Edit video content for social, paid ads, web, lifecycle, and brand campaigns.
  • Create short-form video optimized for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and ads.
  • Assemble raw footage, graphics, sound, and motion into polished final assets.
Creative Collaboration
  • Partner with Creative & Content, Marketing, and Growth teams to understand briefs and goals.
  • Translate brand guidelines and creative direction into compelling video edits.
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance data.
Performance & Optimization
  • Edit multiple versions of videos for testing hooks, formats, and messaging.
  • Optimize videos for engagement, retention, and conversion.
  • Incorporate learnings from performance data into future edits.
Asset Management & Workflow
  • Organize, manage, and archive video assets.
  • Ensure timely delivery of video content on tight deadlines.
  • Maintain quality and consistency across all video outputs.
Qualifications
Required
  • 2–5+ years of experience editing video for brands, creators, or marketing teams.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing short-form and digital-first video content.
  • Proficiency in video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, or similar).
  • Understanding of social media video trends and formats.
  • Strong attention to detail and storytelling instincts.
Preferred
  • Experience editing performance-driven or paid media videos.
  • Familiarity with basic motion graphics and captions.
  • Experience working in startups or fast-paced creative environments.
