Job description

The position holder shall undertake the following functions:

1. Performs job functions consistent with the corporate vision and

mission statements and the core values of the company

2.Drivers demonstration units into and pulls out from the showroom or

off-company premises such as malls, fairs, expositions and the like

for display purposes.

1. Undertakes regular cleaning of demonstration units in the showroom

and stockyard.

1. Prepares purchased automotive units for delivery to customers by:

a. Ensuring completion and approval of necessary

documentaion specifically the delivery receipt.

b. Securing stencils of the unit.

c. Inspecting the unit to ensure that it is free from scratch

and dent.

d. Ensuring that all tools and other accessories are in the

unit

1. Picks up units from dealer distributor

2. Transfers units for delivery to customers from the warehouse to the

sales office and on to the customer.

1. Assist the service supervisor/advisor in the interactive reception of

automotive units brought in for service; drives the unit into the service

area.

1. Transfer vehicles to designated location in the service area as well in

washing area; transfers completed vehicles from the washing area to

service reception.

1. Prepares vehicles for turn over to owners by putting paper matting

and re-installing seat covers.

1. Prepares official trip ticket and submits it to the authorized signatory

for approval prior to driving for any officer, employee, or guest.

1. Drives company vehicle and transports authorized passengers as

specified by requests for vehicle utilization and trip tickets and as

direted by superiors during emergencies.

1. Records travel details in the trip ticket including time spent, gasoline consumption, distance covered, and toll and parking fees incurred.

13.Performs messengerial services using the official vehicle of the

company for the delivery and pick up of documents, packages, properties

and the like to/ form addresses, origins and destinations on instances

requirings special handling and / or expeditious action.

1. maintains cleanliness of company vehicles. Keep area neat, clean

and organize.

1. Does minor trouble-shooting of vehicles and takes corrective action

during vehicle malfunction while on the road; reports problems related to

vehicle efficiency to superiors. Assist in receiving of new units deliver

from dealer distributor if any.

1. Coordinates with the service department regular preventive

maintenance on company vehicles.

1. Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous,

germane or related to and / or implied from the above enumeration

of duties and resposibilities.
