FS Developer

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer who will be responsible for translating technical solutions into high-quality, efficient, and reliable code. The ideal candidate has strong technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Translate designs and technical specifications provided by the technology engineer into optimized, well-structured code.
• Develop systems based on requirements while adhering to timelines and project schedules.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Write release documentation for each system version.
• Identify and fix software defects and system issues.

• Strong understanding of computer systems, software design, and development practices.
• Proficiency in Java and related technologies with hands-on experience in actual project environments.
• Logical, analytical, and creative problem-solving approach.
• High attention to detail and quality-oriented coding practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience working in regulated or corporate environments.
• Familiarity with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (e.g., OpenShift).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Must be amenable to work on a full RTO set-up (5x a week) in Orttigas, Pasig.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
• Proven ability to write and maintain source code in multiple programming languages.
• Experience working in both cloud-based and on-premise server setups.
• Familiar with integrating third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, REST, SOAP/WSDL).
• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, C#, REST API, Springboot, Reactjs or Vuejs (at least 3 years experience)
• Skilled in open-source environments (Linux – Ubuntu/Red Hat, MySQL, Java).
• Knowledge of basic financial systems and accounting principles is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, SES, SMTP, and Linux cron jobs.
• Exposure to big data tools like Apache Spark and Hadoop.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools and scripting (Jenkins, Ansible, Ant, Liquibase).
• Experience with DevOps tools (Puppet, Chef, Docker).
• Proficient in version control tools (Git, Subversion, Mercurial).
