CAD/CAM Designer/Operator

We are looking for CAD Designer / CAD operator

• Assists engineering teams with their drawing requirements.
• Designs, revises and finalizes 2D and 3D drawings (electrical metal enclosures and switchgears ).
• Design using Mechanical/Electrical / Sheet Metal CAD 3D software
• Creates 2D and 3D drawings with perspective view / details and material specifications.
• Ensures newly modified designs can be manufactured and meets all specifications efficiently.
• Design using CAM software to send to sheet punching/laser machine
• Maintains files for all projects.
• Supports engineers and designers of all disciplines through a variety of tasks including proposal drawings and sketches.
• Deals with other engineers and provide technical assistance
• Support fabrication team by preparing detail drawings, 3D bending guides, and assembly drawings.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.
• Responsible for designing drawing for Programming to press brake, Turret Punches and Laser by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

• ensure machine maintenance schedule is performed
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be at least graduate of technical/vocational courses, Mechanical Engineering, (Automotive, electro mechanical, other related courses)
• Must be punctual, honest, hard-working and has a positive attitude
• Has excellent written and oral communication skills
• Can work with minimal supervision
• With 1 year related experience from manufacturing set up
• Effective speaking and listening communication skills
• Must be able to read measurements and use measuring instruments
• Knows how to interpret and understand Electrical and Production Drawings
• With background in using 2D and 3D Design software
• Knowledgeable in using SOLIDWORKS Sheet Metal is an advantage
• Knows fabrication and welding principles is a plus
• With mechanical aptitude in sheet metal, fabrication and calculations
• Has strong analytical and computer skills
• Must be willing to work in Quezon City

Work Environment: Metal fabrication shop/ office

Primary product: Metal Enclosures/ Cabinets

Working Hours :8 to 5 Pm Mondays to Fridays

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From Php700.00 per day

Work Location: In person
