Cyber Security Expert (On-Site)

Note: This is an on-site job. You must be residing in Santa Rosa, Laguna, or comfortably commuting to this job's location.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or IT security.

• Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.

• Proficiency in security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.

• Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and threat intelligence.

• Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).

• Familiarity with security tools like SIEM, antivirus software, endpoint protection, and identity management solutions.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to security incidents efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills for reporting and advising on security matters.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.

• Experience with Python Programming

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures.

• Monitor networks and systems for potential security threats and respond to incidents.

• Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans.

• Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats, malware, and unauthorized access.

• Manage firewalls, antivirus solutions, and endpoint security tools.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company security standards.

• Investigate security breaches and recommend improvements to prevent future incidents.

• Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and conduct awareness training.

• Keep up to date with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.

• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security is integrated into all operations.
