LabVIEW Test

Job Summary:

The LabVIEW Test and Systems Development Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cost- effective test solution for products in mass production. Test solutions should guarantee the product performance according to specifications and within the desired level of quality and reliability. Provides technical support to production team specially in their test and process automation or any software needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Takes part in the conceptualization and design of the test system (Hardware and Software)
• Designs and develops test and/or system hardware
• Ensures that the test system and hardware modules are built according to provided test system and hardware module documentation and tester specification
• Designs and develops test and/or system software
• Integrates software components during merging phase and ensures the software package is working at module and system level
• Analyzes mechanical assembly functionality and takes part in the jigs/fixture/rack verification and validation
• Generates documents indicated as deliverables in the checklist such as but not limited to Bill of Materials (BOM), HW drawings such as block diagram, wiring diagram, tester manual, and software flowcharts
• Sets-up the system during transfer phase and provides technical support during the test process validation phase
• Participates in endorsement activities such as MSA and Operation training
• Supports production team in troubleshooting and debugging test systems issues
• Assists production team on their test and process automation or software needs
• Provides innovative solutions to current manufacturing processes
• Provides technical support to production especially on test and automation to ensure on-time delivery of finished products
• Supports database issues and takes responsibility on the integrity of the database

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Computer Engineering, BS Electronics Engineering or any related course
• At least 2 years related work experience
• With excellent software development skills
• Intermediate to excellent electronic hardware analytics
• Can work in a fast-paced environment
• Can develop within schedule and minimal supervision
• Good communication skills
• Good writing, presentation and reporting skills
• Knowledge in C/C++ and LabVIEW
• Knowledgeable in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Wrike
• Willing to work in Binan Laguna
