FMD Engineer

The Facilities and Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the inspection, repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure. This role ensures that all mechanical systems and building facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct evaluations of equipment and facility repair costs and maintenance requirements.
• Provide work direction and lead projects focused on facility improvements, including developing efficient project plans, establishing priorities, delegating tasks, guiding team members, anticipating issues, and monitoring task completion.
• Oversee maintenance of all building systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, pumps, generators, tanks, and packaging equipment.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and strategies to minimize equipment breakdowns, maximize operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Perform routine inspections to identify potential electrical hazards, ensure adherence to electrical codes and regulations, and recommend corrective measures.
• Review and evaluate preventive maintenance contracts and project bid proposals to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Recommend project proposals for facility improvements to the Immediate Superior for approval.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed Electrical Engineer
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building maintenance.
• Proven project management and team leadership skills.
• Ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
