Job description

Primary Function:

Maintain orderliness and safety within pool area.

Administrative
Maintain continuous surveillance of people in swimming pool.

*Ensure appropriate headcount of people involved in a water sport on an hourly basis.

*Supervise swimmers to ensure that they are swimming within the safety protocols.
Monitors swimming teams pool lane allocation

Providing Safety

*Call out warnings to people who may have ventured too far or are in imminent danger.

*Provide safety information to people prior to them indulging in water sport.

*Spot potential hazards and take measures to prevent accidents.

*Perform rescue in the event of drowning or swimming accidents.

*Perform first aid and CPR according to the demands of adverse situations.

Maintenance

*Perform pool chemical checks to ensure safety and hygiene.

*Maintain accurate record of pool use and chemical levels.

*Perform maintenance check to be coordinate with Pool Maintenance

*Ensure that all pool equipment is stored safely and that any lost items are kept in safe place.

Other Task

*Complies to Club policy.
Ensure Swimming Pool's Club Rules are being followed by Members and Guests

*Perform other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
