We are currently on the lookout for a trained Testing Professional responsible for testing end-products. Identifies and analyses quality concerns via requirements review and product inspection. Designs appropriate tests needed to ensure quality of the product under test.

Documents defects and failure rates, performs root cause analysis, and communicates quality metrics in test reports. Responsibilities will include:Designs test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes. Participates in requirement, design and specification reviews, and uses this information to design test plans and test conditions.

Applies agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing. Analyses and reports on test activities, results, issues and risks. Follows agreed standards and techniques to devise and execute test cases and scenarios based on predefined acceptance criteria.

Analyses and reports on test activities, results, issues and risks. Evaluates design options and prototypes to obtain user feedback on requirements of developing systems, products, services or devices. Tests the usability and accessibility of components and alternative designs.

Administers a range of evaluations, recording data and feedback. Analyses evaluation data and recommends actions. Identifies areas for future user research.

Checks systems, products, services or devices for adherence to applicable standards, guidelines, style guides, and legislation. Evaluates the usability of existing or competitor systems to provide benchmark values and as input to design. Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors simple programs/scripts.

Applies agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result. Reviews own work. About

You:3+ years of experience in manual testing (functional, non-functional, regression). Can replicate issues in QA environment based on the reported issue in production/SIT.Can execute test cases based on detailed test steps in JIRA Xray. Can raise bugs with detailed information of the issue.

Must have knowledge or experience working in:Web-based applications. An understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycles.

Nice to have:Experience in writing SQLs using SQL Server 2019. Experience in working in a financial services/lending business. Experience or basic knowledge in automation is a plus:Can debug scripts for any errors.

Can set up environment for automation. Can run test scripts via local environment or Jenkins. Can create end-to-end scripts using Cucumber and/or Selenium framework.
