Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Carmona, Cavite

Reports To: Head of Finance

Department: Finance & Accounting

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting functions across a group of companies engaged in bus manufacturing. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, manage intercompany transactions, oversee compliance, and support strategic decision-making across multiple entities in the group.

Key Responsibilities:

Group Financial Management

  • Oversee the consolidated financial statements and monthly close process for all group entities.
  • Ensure consistency of accounting policies across the group and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Lead the preparation and coordination of group audits (internal and external).

Manufacturing & Cost Accounting

  • Supervise cost accounting processes, including BOM costing, WIP analysis, overhead absorption, and inventory valuation.
  • Work closely with the production and operations team to ensure accurate tracking of materials, labor, and overhead costs.

Intercompany Accounting

  • Manage intercompany billing, reconciliations, and eliminations for group consolidation.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes for intercompany loans, transactions, and transfer pricing documentation.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

  • Lead the annual budgeting process for all companies and provide rolling forecasts.
  • Provide variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and financial insights to management for better decision-making.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations including VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate income taxes.

Team Management & Process Improvement

  • Supervise and develop a team of accountants across group companies.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with internal financial policies and SOPs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory control, and group consolidation.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Experience working in a multi-company or group structure.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP implementation or process automation.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
