Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in alignment with the IB curriculum and standards.

Implement and enforce classroom rules and procedures to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment

Address and manage student behavior in a fair, consistent, and constructive manner.

Motivate students to take responsibility for their learning and behavior.

Design and administer assessments to evaluate students progress and comprehension, in line with IB requirements.

Provide timely and constructive feedback to student achievements and progress.

Use assessment data to inform and adjust instructional practices and strategies.

Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and development.

Participate in parent-teacher conferences, meetings, and school events.

Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate instructional activities, special events, and curriculum development.

Contribute to a positive and collaborative school culture.

Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in IB education and subject matter expertise.

Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.

Reflect on teaching practices and seek feedback to continuously improve instructional effectiveness.

Provide individual and small group support to students who need additional assistance.

Identify and address the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational needs.

Promote the social and emotional well-being of students through positive relationships and support.

Organize and participate in cultural events and activities that promote understanding and appreciation of different cultures.

Integrate cultural lessons and activities into the curriculum.

Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students at all times.

Supervise students during all activities, including recess, lunch, and field trips.

Follow CKS College's policies and procedures regarding child protection, health, and safety.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the coordinator/Supervisor, Director for IB, Vice President for Academic Affairs, or other relevant authorities, in support of the IB program's goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
-
Certification or training in IB teaching methods preferred.

Previous experience teaching in a IB program or similar international curriculum.

Experience in lesson planning and curriculum implementation
-
Strong understanding of IB educational standards and best practices.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.

Proficiency in the subject area(s) being taught.

Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Strong classroom management skills.
-
Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with students.
-
Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
-
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with IB standards.
