AVEVA E3D Programmer

We are seeking a skilled AVEVA E3D Programmer to design, develop, and maintain automation tools, custom commands, and reporting solutions that support plant design activities across multiple engineering disciplines. This role is pivotal in enhancing efficiency and accuracy in engineering workflows through tailored application development.

You will contribute to both internal initiatives and client-facing projects, delivering high-quality solutions that align with project specifications and broader business objectives.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain AVEVA E3D tools, commands, and in-house automation solutions.
• Generate and refine engineering reports and structured data outputs from E3D.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and user assistance for E3D-related tools and workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional software solutions.
• Ensure all developed tools meet performance, quality, and usability standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for customizations, scripts, and application workflows.

Your Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D or PDMS in the plant design industry, ideally within sectors such as oil & gas, power, or marine.
• Proficiency in VB.NET and C#, with a solid grasp of programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with other engineering software platforms (e.g., Autodesk, Bentley, Hexagon PPM) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a mathematical mindset.
• Solid understanding of Windows environments and application-level troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.
• Adaptable to dynamic work environments and quick to learn new technologies.
