  • Devise and implement strategies for buying commodities from supplier.
  • Analyze global demands for the assigned commodities.
  • Command proficiency in commodities and buying processes and update as required.
  • Assess, evaluate and suggest reliable commodity suppliers.
  • Implement and Advise management on purchases.
  • Interface between suppliers and operational team on buying processes.
  • Evaluate and improve costing techniques.
  • Facilitate communication between supplier and the various buying departments.
  • Formulate close ties with suppliers through providing quality work within the given timelines.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Graduate of any business course

  2. At least have a 5-year supplier management experience including successful negotiation of cost and supply agreement (Supervisory level)

  3. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies

  4. Working knowledge of sourcing systems and processes

  5. Strong project management skills with Solid Microsoft Office skills

  6. Good communications skills and proficient in English Language skills.
