The Accounting Staff is responsible for providing support to the finance department by performing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in the preparation of reports. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of financial transactions in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and update financial transactions in the accounting system (A/R, A/P, journal entries, etc.)
  • Prepare and process invoices, billing statements, and official receipts
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Handle accounts payable, including vendor invoices, payment preparation, and expense verification
  • Assist in payroll preparation and reconciliation
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and documents
  • Prepare bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for needed accounting information
  • Support internal and external audits by providing requested documents
  • Ensure compliance with government reporting (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor/Manager
