PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE

· Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEPFS works.

· Analyse design drawings and specifications to quantify materials and labor.

· Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ) specific to MEPFS systems.

· Ensure accuracy and completeness of quantities and descriptions.

· Assist in preparing tender documents for MEPFS packages.

· Evaluate MEPFS subcontractor bids and provide cost comparisons.

· Propose cost-effective alternatives for MEPFS systems without compromising quality or performance.

CONSTRUCTION PHASE

· Track actual costs vs. budget for MEPFS works.

· Monitor variations and change orders related to MEPFS.

· Prepare and validate interim payment applications for MEPFS subcontractors.

· Conduct site measurements and verify work done.

· Manage MEPFS subcontractor contracts, including claims and variations.

· Ensure compliance with contractual terms and technical specifications.

· Work closely with MEPFS engineers, and project managers.

· Attend coordination meetings to resolve cost and scope issues.

POST-CONSTRUCTION PHASE

· Compile and agree on final accounts with MEPFS subcontractors.

· Reconcile all payments, variations, and claims.

· Maintain records of all MEPFS cost-related documents.

· Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to the head of cost management team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Mid-level QS MEPFS)

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or related field.

  2. 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying with MEPFS focus (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Sanitary).

  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or Planswift for quantity take-offs.

  4. Experience in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and tendering for MEPFS works.

  5. Knowledge of local codes and standards (e.g., Philippine Electrical Code, National Plumbing Code.)

  6. Experience in contract administration and variation order evaluation.

  7. Ability to coordinate with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.

  8. Strong documentation and reporting skills.

  9. MUST be willing to travel or be assigned in Project Site

  10. Licensed is required
