(United States). We are seeking a
full-time Application Developer
with a strong background in Python or a similar language to build a desktop asset tracking application for an office environment.

The application will be used to monitor physical assets—primarily documents—via RFID sticker tags. No GPS or geolocation features are required. Its primary function is to record the last tracker location where an asset was scanned.

You will collaborate closely with our in-house UI designer, who will handle all interface design. Your focus will be on backend logic, RFID integration, database management, and ensuring the desktop app performs reliably in both offline and online, office-based environments.

Key Details:

    Full-time
  • Work Schedule:
    Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Work Arrangement:
    Open to hybrid setup
  • Eligibility:
    Must not currently be in a full-time role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a desktop application to detect and log RFID tag scans
  • Build and manage a local database to store asset details and scan history
  • Implement logic to track and display the last known location of each asset
  • Integrate UI designs provided by our UX/UI team
  • Ensure stable performance in an online/offline, office-based environment

Salary:

Competitive, based on experience.

Technology:

Experience with RFID technology is a plus but not required. Applicants are encouraged to research RFID basics prior to screening/interview.
