Seamstress/Tailor

The Seamstress/Tailor is responsible for sewing, repairing, and altering staff uniforms, linens, and fabrics to maintain high-quality standards and ensure professional appearance across the resort and casino.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sew, repair, and alter uniforms, linens, and other fabric items as required.
• Take measurements and adjust garments for proper fit and appearance.
• Ensure all uniforms and linens are in excellent condition and meet company standards.
• Maintain and operate sewing machines and related equipment in good condition.
• Keep an inventory of sewing supplies, fabrics, and accessories.
• Work closely with the Housekeeping and Laundry teams to meet repair and alteration needs.
• Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure durability and neatness.
• Handle special sewing projects as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or vocational training in tailoring, dressmaking, or related field.
• Proven experience as a seamstress, tailor, or garment worker (hospitality industry experience is an advantage).
• Skilled in sewing, mending, alterations, and garment construction.
• Knowledge of different fabrics, stitching techniques, and garment care.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
