The Production Crew is a versatile and essential member of the Auro Chocolate manufacturing team, responsible for executing a wide range of tasks across the entire production line—from handling raw cacao beans to final packaging. The crew member must be committed to maintaining efficiency, quality, safety, and strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at every stage of the acclaimed tree-to-bar process.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing and Processing:

  • Execute hands-on duties in raw material preparation, including the sorting, cleaning, and feeding of cacao beans into processing machinery.
  • Operate and monitor specialized chocolate-making equipment (e.g., roasters, winnowers, refiners, conches, temperers) as instructed by the Supervisor.
  • Assist in the precise mixing and weighing of ingredients for different chocolate formulations, ensuring adherence to batch records and recipe specifications.
  • Perform tasks related to moulding, demoulding, and cooling of chocolate products, ensuring correct form and structure.

Quality and Food Safety:

  • Actively maintain a clean and sanitized work area, including daily cleaning of machinery, floors, and utensils according to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations and Food Safety policies (HACCP/GMP) to prevent contamination and maintain product integrity.
  • Conduct basic quality checks (e.g., visual inspection, weight checks) and promptly isolate and report any damaged or non-conforming products or materials.

Logistics and Documentation:

  • Organize and prepare raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods for staging and transfer.
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and relocating inventory within the production and storage areas, following FIFO/FEFO (First-In, First-Out/First-Expired, First-Out) principles.
  • Accurately complete required production logs, traceability forms, and checklists to document process parameters and output.
