About the Role

We are an established accounting firm looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Team Lead to join our team. This role combines leadership, client service, and hands-on accounting. The successful candidate will supervise senior accountants, manage client deliverables, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements before submission to clients and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the accounting team, particularly senior accountants, ensuring quality and timely delivery of work.
  • Review and finalize financial statements (FS) and reports before submission to clients and for audit purposes.
  • Monitor and manage accounting reports and schedules prepared for multiple clients.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance technical skills and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with clients to address accounting queries and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
  • Assist in improving accounting processes and maintaining best practices within the team.

Qualifications

  • Accountancy Graduate (CPA is an advantage but not required).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong technical knowledge in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Experience in reviewing financial statements and preparing reports for audit.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines effectively.

Preferred

  • Female candidates are preferred due to internal team setup.
