Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit all required tax returns (e.g., VAT, income tax, withholding tax, local business taxes) accurately and on time.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate tax records for auditing and compliance.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure proper tax-related entries.
  • Offer advice on tax-efficient strategies and business structures.
  • Handle tax audits from internal and external auditors or tax authorities.
  • Address and respond to tax assessments, notices, and government inquiries.
  • Prepare documents and support for tax positions taken by the company.
  • Resolve discrepancies identified during audits.
  • Advise management on tax law changes and propose necessary actions.
  • Stay updated on new tax regulations and revise internal tax policies accordingly.
  • Work with other departments (Finance, Legal, HR) on tax-related matters.
  • Generate and submit reports on tax liabilities, payments, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and tax authorities when required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in tax compliance or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of national and local tax laws, regulations, and filing procedures.
  • Experience with tax audits and dealings with tax authorities.
  • Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, BIR eFPS/eBIRForms).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
  • Must be willing to work in 6th Ave, Caloocan City
