Cleaner/Janitor

May be assigned to perform the following functions such as but not limited to:

l Lashing/unlashing

l Line handling

l Bridging/unbridging

l Locking unlocking of stacking cones, placing and removing stacking canes

l Tightening loosening lashing bars and chains, bridge fittings and other container-securing equipment

l Loading/unloading of cargoes to and from the pier, barges or anchorage Receiving, locating, examination, stowing and delivering of cargoes

l Stuffing and stripping of containers

l Safekeeping of lashing materials/tools on gear boxes

l Housekeeping

l Keeps building facilities in clean and orderly condition

l Performs cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls, including cleaning of yard and pier apron.

l Maintains clean and sanitary restrooms.

l Performs routine maintenance activities and notifies management of the need for repairs facilities
