SAP ABAP Developer

We are seeking SAP ABAP Developers for a volume hiring initiative focused on modern application development within our S/4HANA and SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) landscape. This role is perfect for a developer ready to move beyond classic ABAP and specialize in high-performance, integrated, and cloud-ready solutions.

What You'll Do (Core Responsibilities)

You'll be a key player in building our next generation of SAP applications, focusing on performance and modern integration:

  • Modern ABAP Development: Design, code, and maintain custom applications using Object-Oriented ABAP (ABAP OO).
  • Next-Gen Applications: Build scalable, enterprise-ready services using the RESTful Application Programming (RAP) model for S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
  • Data & Analytics: Develop and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) views for efficient reporting and real-time analytics.
  • Integration Services: Create and manage OData services to connect back-end data with front-end applications like SAP Fiori/UI5.
  • Performance Tuning: Leverage SAP HANA's in-memory capabilities, using AMDPs (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and SQL Script to ensure maximum performance.
  • Quality & Documentation: Perform rigorous unit testing, debugging, and prepare detailed technical specifications and design documents.
Key Skills

Core Modern Stack

  • ABAP OO, CDS, OData, and RAP (Restful Application Programming.

HANA Development

  • Hands-on experience with SAP HANA (including AMDP and SQL Script) for performance tuning.

Integration & UX

  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP Gateway, and the SAP BTP environment.

Tooling & Process

  • Proficiency with ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse; understanding of SAP Activate methodology and S/4HANA conversion projects.

Foundational Knowledge

  • Knowledge of classic SAP development objects (WRICEF: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
Qualifications
  • Experience: 3–5years of professional experience in SAP development, with demonstrated participation in S/4HANA projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency Level: Candidate must be at Level P3 – Advanced (ready to lead complex development tasks independently).
  • Certifications (A Plus): Relevant certifications in SAP ABAP for HANA, SAP RAP, or SAP BTP are highly desirable.
  • Willing to work on HYBRID Setup (2x a week)
  • Location: BGC, MANDALUYONG, ALABANG.
