Job Opening: Laboratory Support Staff (Agency-Based)

Location: Tanay, Rizal – R&D Laboratory

Employment Type: Agency-Based

We are looking for a Laboratory Support Staff to join our R&D team in Tanay, Rizal. This role is under an agency and will provide essential support to our chemists in conducting experiments, managing samples, and maintaining laboratory standards.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

Sampling & Documentation Support

  • Follow instructions from the chemist with precision and care.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of laboratory raw materials, samples, and tools.
  • Properly record, label, identify, and monitor raw materials and equipment.
  • Maintain and file relevant data, and ensure timely reporting to the chemist.

Overall Laboratory Support

  • Assist in the layout and arrangement of chemicals and materials.

  • Support the chemist in tasks such as:

  • Lifting and weighing materials

  • Preparing chemical samples and substrates (concrete, wood, metal, plastic)
  • Cleaning laboratory glassware, tools, and equipment
  • Monitoring and reporting experimental progress
  • Implement good laboratory practices to ensure experiment quality and integrity.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the R&D Laboratory through 5S practices.
  • Perform other R&D-related tasks as assigned by the chemist.

Qualifications
  • Preferably with experience in laboratory or technical support roles.
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks (lifting, cleaning, preparation).
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Willing to be assigned in Tanay, Rizal.
  • Comfortable working under an agency arrangement.
