We are seeking an experienced Workday Support Lead to oversee production support, incident management, and problem resolution within our Workday Finance environment. This role will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday-related inquiries, providing guidance to both the client and internal teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Workday Finance, strong leadership in service management, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the investigation and resolution of incidents and problem tickets related to Workday, ensuring compliance with established SLAs.
  • Act as the SME for Workday Finance, providing expert-level support to the client and internal support teams.
  • Drive initiatives for process and application support improvements, ensuring service efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify recurring issues and propose preventive measures.
  • Oversee and guide support teams, ensuring timely handling of service requests and escalation management.
  • Maintain documentation of incident resolutions, root cause analyses, and support processes.

Must-Have Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Workday Finance (Core) support and configuration.
  • Strong background in service management and production support.
  • Proven track record of managing incident/problem ticket lifecycles with SLA adherence.
  • Workday Customer to Cash certification (or equivalent expertise).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Procurement and Banking Settlements within Workday Finance.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
  • Experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives for support processes.
  • Familiarity with global finance processes and integrations.

Additional Requirements:

  • Open to Project based employment (initial 6 months w/ possibility of absorption depends on your performance)
  • Amenable to work 2x Onsite per week on Nightshift schedule (9pm-7am)
