Job: Senior Financial Specialist (Modelling and Strategy)


Location: Cebu, Philippines

The Opportunity

Our esteemed client, a growing company in the logistics and transportation sector, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to drive long-term financial planning and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the 5-year financial model in Excel, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Enhance model structure and usability using advanced Excel techniques and scenario analysis.
  • Translate strategic direction into financial assumptions and forecasts.
  • Develop strong understanding of operational and commercial drivers across the business.
  • Partner with the CFO and senior leaders on scenario modelling for investments, new services, and market expansion.
  • Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
  • Use BI tools (e.g. Power BI) where appropriate to communicate key outputs.
  • Uphold company's values, policies, and a safe, high-performance work environment.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's or CPA/CFA is a plus).
  • 8+ years of experience in financial modelling, FP&A, strategy, or corporate finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex models, scenarios, sensitivity analysis).
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and business drivers.
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership / CFO on strategic analysis.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and strong alignment with company values.
