What's the role? The CP/SC Analyst – Data Operations position will be responsible for the end-to-end operational data setup, supplier qualification, and continuous improvement opportunities for a specific business. This role involves interfacing with multiple stakeholders across CP Operations, Supply Chain (SC), and other external partners such as IT and Accounts Payable.

He/she must ensure that the Data operating model delivers business value within the new macro context. This requires collaborating with data stakeholders inside and outside CP/SC to develop and operate accurate and reliable data, enabling business improvements in financial performance, safeguarding license to operate, and achieving CP/SC goals (e.g., availability, cost). Data must be trustworthy, enable digitalization, and be reliable, allowing Shell to maximize operational spend impact and free up time for asset-based colleagues.

What you'll be doing

Partner with frontline CP, suppliers, functional teams, and other CP Data Operational teams to meet business requirements within target timelines. Ensure Data Quality (Right First Time, Trusted Data) is in place.

Operationalize data designs to eliminate waste, ensure right-first-time execution, and maintain strong data quality. This includes daily operational data processes across end-to-end CP to improve supply chains, contributing to RDS targets for cost and delivery improvements. Support root cause analysis, exception reporting, and operational reviews with CP Leads to prioritize, resolve issues, and improve as a unit.

Maintain controls and mitigate risks consistently. Identify areas for improvement, lead or participate in improvement projects based on root cause analysis and exceptions. DimensionsDay shift with flexible working hours depending on stakeholder locations.

Special Challenges (Complexity)Understanding business requirements and how the business operates, especially how data impacts supply chains and actionable outcomes.Managing diverse virtual stakeholders across CP/SC leadership, FOD - AP, IT, TAO, etc. Curiosity and capacity to understand Data and Data processes within CP/SC and business context. May require working in different shifts to accommodate stakeholders' time zones.

What you bring

Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills to influence others. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and collaborate effectively. Ability to handle complexity and detail, and work well in teams.

Self-motivated with cultural sensitivity. Results-oriented with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment. Curiosity about business, customer-centricity, or CP/SC may be advantageous.
