JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for preparing or cooking soups and sauces, food items requiring only a short preparation time, and other hot food items for the coffee shop and banquet following standards considering the required quantity or volume and service time.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Planning and preparing work according to forecasts, events, and functions.
- Checks logbook for turnover from the previous shift.
- Checks forecast, buffet line up, events, and functions at the beginning of the shift.
- Prepares storeroom requisition/market list to be used the following day.
- Takes inventory of a la carte items at the beginning of the shift.
- Checks quantity and quality of food items received/on hand.
2. Preparing, cooking, serving hot food items.
- Prepares soups and sauces.
- Participates in the preparation of hot food items for the coffee shop and for banquet.
- Participates in preparing a la carte orders as necessary.
- Dispatches food for banquet events.
3. End of shift assignments.
- Prepares inter-transfers.
- Sums up or tallies popularity index and inventory of a la carte items per shift.
- Turns over a la carte inventory and other matters to the next shift.
4. Cost-consciousness.
- Switches off utilities (gas, light, water) after use.
- Reports out-of-order equipment.
5. Ensures proper use of equipment, cleaning own work area, tools and equipment.
- Maintains the "clean as you go" policy.
- Ensures that all cold storage (freezer/chiller) are always clean and orderly.
- Uses equipment according to its recommended use or instructions.
6. Abiding by the company policies and procedures, house rules and regulations.
7. Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php17, Php18,000.00 per month
