Who we are looking for

We are looking for a structured and solution-oriented colleague to strengthen our team in Manila with solid competence in data handling and Power BI support. This is a hands-on and delivery-focused role with two main areas of responsibility:

First, you will provide backend support related to Power BI usage among our customers. This includes technical tasks such as setting up new customers with our standard templates, resolving data sync issues, and troubleshooting data discrepancies.

Second, you will play an important role in onboarding new customers to our Maintenance and Procurement (PMS) products. This involves working with customer data exported from other systems and supporting the migration, transformation, and import processes to ensure a smooth transition into UniSea's solutions. Some of these tasks are performed both manually and with the help of tools, and we are continuously improving our processes to increase efficiency and automation.

Your contribution will be vital in delivering accurate, stable, and efficient data-driven services to our maritime customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding new customers to UniSea's Maintenance and Procurement software products
• Perform manual data preparation, migration, and transformation as part of customer implementation
• Use available tools for import/export and support the development of improved data automation processes
• Monitor and troubleshoot backend Power BI issues such as missing or incorrect data, broken links, or failed synchronizations
• Set up new customers with UniSea's Power BI report templates and ensure successful report delivery
• Work closely with other members of the analytics team as well as IT and PMS teams
• Document processes and contribute to improving internal workflows and customer experiences

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other relevant technical field
• Background in SQL / MS SQL
• Background with any maritime Plan Maintenance system like TM Master, AMOS Windows, StarIPS and others is a plus
• Solid understanding of data structures, databases, and common data formats (Excel, CSV, JSON, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with data handling, migrations, and/or integration projects
• Familiarity with Power BI and general reporting or BI environments
• A methodical and accurate approach to working with data
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently on assigned tasks
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Background in graphics design is a plus
