Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Care & Patient Management

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums.
  • Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, crowns, bridges, dentures, and preventive cleanings.
  • Ensure accurate diagnosis through proper use of dental instruments, radiographs, and clinical evaluation.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.

2. Treatment Planning & Documentation

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and conditions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, charts, and treatment histories.
  • Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure seamless workflow and quality care.

3. Clinic Operations & Professional Conduct

  • Comply with clinic policies, DOH regulations, and infection control standards.
  • Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and continuing education activities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized operatory environment.
  • Uphold a high standard of ethics, professionalism, and patient confidentiality.

4. Patient Relations & Service Excellence

  • Foster positive relationships with patients and promote a welcoming clinic atmosphere.
  • Address patient concerns or queries promptly and courteously.
  • Contribute to achieving clinic goals for patient satisfaction and service excellence.
