About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our dynamic team at the INTERACTIVE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE in Tagaytay City, Cavite. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality baked goods and desserts that delight our customers. This is a full-time position that offers competitive remuneration and benefits.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and execute innovative pastry recipes and dessert menus
2. Oversee the daily production of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods
3. Ensure the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency in all your creations
4. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure the seamless integration of desserts into the overall dining experience
5. Manage the pastry kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and cost control
6. Provide training and mentorship to the pastry team
7. Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work environment

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
2. Formal training in the culinary arts or baking, with a strong understanding of pastry techniques and trends
3. Excellent baking and pastry-making skills, with a keen eye for detail and presentation
4. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
5. Strong leadership and team management skills
6. Commitment to using high-quality, fresh ingredients and maintaining the highest food safety standards
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
