POSITION SUMMARY
Ensures the Quality Management System, Food Safety Management System, FDA licenses and registrations, Supplier Quality Management, and others as required by Management are properly deployed, implemented, maintained, and improved.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or Nutrition.
- License in any of the relevant degrees is an advantage.
- At least 4 years work experience
- With extensive background in FSSC, QMS and Halal Management System.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC, HACCP, GMP, etc.), and monitor programs such as TACCP, VACCP, Management of Change, and Risk Assessments.
- Lead internal and external audits by preparing documentation, facilitating inspections, and verifying implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Monitor and improve Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) through regular inspections, employee training, and corrective actions.
- Review customer feedback and complaints, investigate product quality issues, and prepare reports and action plans for management review.
- Coordinate supplier accreditation and evaluation, ensuring compliance with company and food safety requirements for raw materials, packaging, and services.
- Support regulatory compliance and certification maintenance for licenses and accreditations (e.g., FDA, USFDA, Halal, Kosher, QMS, FSSC).
- Retain and monitor the Integrated Pest Management System (IPM) in coordination with third-party service providers to ensure a hygienic production environment.
- Prepare and submit quality and food safety performance reports, including audit results, customer complaints, and continuous improvement projects, to management.
