Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive new business growth in the US market. This role focuses on outreach, lead generation, and pipeline development, engaging with small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) and enterprise-level merchants to introduce our payment solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, excels at prospecting, and has a strong understanding of financial technology and merchant services.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and Qualify Leads: Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to SMBs and enterprise merchants.
Educate and Consult: Understand clients' payment processing needs and introduce tailored solutions.
Appointment Setting: Schedule product demos and discovery calls with Sales Executives.
Lead Nurturing: Build and maintain relationships with prospects through follow-ups and strategic touchpoints.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes in the payments space.
CRM Management: Track outreach activities and pipeline progress using HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools.
Qualifications & Skills
13 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or merchant services.
Prior experience with a variety of lead generation tools, especially Apollo, with the ability to train users.
Experience managing the end-to-end sales process and providing recommendations on building workflows (lead generation, appointment setting, closing).
Strong proficiency in CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
Ability to analyze campaign data to identify trends, measure success, and optimize strategies.
Strong prospecting and negotiation skills to engage prospects in meaningful conversations.
Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and set appointments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.
