Job Title: Kitchen Helper / Kitchen Assistant

Department: Kitchen / Food & Beverage

Reports To: Head Chef / Kitchen Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Kitchen Helper assists the kitchen team in food preparation, cleanliness, and overall kitchen operations. This role supports cooks and chefs by ensuring that ingredients, equipment, and work areas are properly prepared and maintained according to food safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools properly
• Properly store food and ingredients according to safety standards
• Dispose of waste and manage garbage segregation properly
• Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies and deliveries
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
• Support kitchen staff during peak hours as needed
• Report any equipment issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least Senior High School graduate
• With experience (Prepare but not required)
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Willing to work in shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of basic food safety is an advantage
• Trustworthy, hardworking, and team-oriented

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php700.00 per day
